Noel de Leon graduated with BSc Honours in Architecture from the EARIST College in Manila, Philippines. His professional experience extends across many areas of design: CAD, interior, and most prominently architectural design.
Noel was born in Pangasinan and moved to Manila when he began college. Staying in the city after graduation, he gained vital experience and moved between assignments and jobs, whilst also starting a family. In 2007, Noel moved to London where he still resides with his wife and three sons. He has currently been working in public health services in the Middlesex/South London area.
The hardships of immigrating and settling down with a young family in the UK was the impetus that compelled Noel to return to art as a means of simultaneous escape, release and emotional articulation. After almost two years in the making, Noel created a formidable collection of work - paintings and installations - that is now ready for all to see.
"Life As I Know It" is Noel's first ever solo art exhibition, which will be open in the Lleixa Art Gallery, Brentford between 17th September - 1st October 2011.
